Happy Saturday!

Hi! How's the Saturday going? It's my "Friday" although I have a busy weekend ahead which includes some overtime at my main job, some training at my part-time job...And not to mention I still work tonight until 0230. Quite a distance yet to go! It's a BEAUTIFUL spring day out though - around 55 degrees and sunny. I did a couple quick Door Dash food delivery orders since I was out and about (made about $20), and then I promptly spent that money I made at a discount store I have by me - called Discount 70. I normally avoid it like the plague, but my sister wanted to go, so I figured why not. Sometimes they have certain food items for randomly cheap (and the selection is always random), household things, beauty/hair/body care items and I found this basket full - about $13 worth of all different sorts of products. *Travel size "Not Your Mother's" Dry Shampoo - 0.79 *Travel size hand sanitizer 0.25 *Batista big dry shampoo 1.99 *Lip balm with 30 SPF 0.79 *Cocoa butter & Biotin 2 step hair mask 0.99 *Tresemme travel hair spray 0.59 *Eva NYC Mane Magic shampoo 5.99 (original price is $12 per Amazon) *Eva NYC leave in conditioner - travel size 0.49 and a few other items. I love this kind of stuff but I need to take a break from buying it until I use some of what I have. But, it's so fun to buy! My kryptonite for sure. Have you found any good deals lately, or have big plans for your weekend?

Those sound like some good prices on those items! Especially for the big dry shampoo...here I know they are at least $6!

Yeah! I didn't check to see if it was expired or not...Or do they expire at all? I have no idea. But I was pretty pumped about it. LOL

Really? Wow. Are you still on total lockdown there? Or how are things going?

@maezee In our city, not really. Only kids and senior citizens aren't allowed in some establishments. I don't really have a reason to go out.

Yes I have and they’re all online purchases. I recently bought a digital planner and sticker bundle from etsy. Then i bought plants online. And now I’m talking to a plant seller again negotiating the shipping of the plants that i want.

A digital planner? Not sure what that would look like. I do like buying things from Etsy though.

@maezee This is my ipad and as you can see, that’s a digital planner complete with digital stickers that I’ve decorated it with. It looks like my real planner from Filofax before.

@maezee Daiso us from Japan. It's a store like a dollar store, but with today's prices... everything just $1.50 or as marked. It's the closest store we got to a dollar store on usi.

I have no big plans for this weekend. And that's okay. I don't have to be busy in order to be happy.

Good for you. Sometimes it is the opposite, some people find joy in not being busy. And that's OK - just a different style. I am the opposite for sure. I like to stay busy ALL the time. It is energizing. Once in a while I do need a day to just chill out though.

I always go to the clearance section of each store and always find something cheaper to buy. You did really good.

I don't have a plan. I often rest at home on weekends during this pandemic.
