Boyfriend is Ignoring Me

It began last Sunday when he blew off date night. In fact I didn't get any text from him at all, all evening. I didn't want to sleep without saying goodnight so I messaged him to say I'm sleeping early I was not feeling so well. The next day he texted me mid day asking how I was and I said I was fine and asked the question back. I didn't get any reply until 5 hours. And when I finally did I asked if I could call him as I felt like we haven't talked in a while. I didn't get a reply and I was up all night thinking about it.
I don't know if I'm being neurotic and unreasonable or it's my hormones going crazy. I normally would not say anything. But today as he texted explaining about him getting a vaccine and feeling so ill that he slept. I kind of told him what was in my heart. It goes along the line' "I hope you're feeling better. I was beginning to think you're losing interest in me. I was actually contemplating if I should ask you about it." Now I'm worried he thinks I'm crazy.

@flapiz You don't need to. I am pretty sure he will understand.

@cherigucchi I hope so I am a bit conscious about saying what I feel. My ex used to say I'm crazy everytime I have complaints.

It is really hard nowadays because of covid. Try understanding his situation. I`m sure he`ll tell you if there is something going wrong with your relationship

@m_audrey6788 I hope he does not think I'm crazy. I'm actually scared of what his reply would be.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt this time. It's possible that he is being honest about the vaccine making him feel really ill. I know a lot of people have been experiencing that. But, on the other hand, he really should have tried to communicate with you better.
I hope everything works out between you two.

@moffittjc well I met him in the UK. But I moved to Guernsey and although it is part of the British Channel Island it is still separated by water. And with covid the rules are different and so we can't really visit each other as much as we want.
I did plan to visit him this May but I think maybe I'd forego that.

@flapiz Oh, it's not a guy you met in the UK? I thought maybe you found some local love this time.

I wouldn't worry about it. Those things happen.

@snowy22315 Yeah I wasn't feeling so great when I had mine. But I would've thought he would at least reply and say of course he's not losing interest in me. But instead he was quiet.

Just wait for some time and then contact. Sometimes relationships need some dose of time and space.

@flapiz I believe that women’s instinct is always right. If you have a hunch that something is wrong, then most probably there is.

@toniganzon Yes Toni I really feel like something's not right. If not he would've at least replied and told me it's not true. Anyway I did not get any message overnight too while he's been posting on social media.

Well that's the thing I don't know him that well. We have only started being in a relationship 3 months ago. And dating 2 months before that.
We are in a long distance relationship. So I'm really not sure if I'm still keeping his interest up.

I intend to. Although I'm afraid I've already blurted out my frustration. I'm still waiting for a response if I ever get one.

He was probably not feeling well like you said and didn't feel like doing anything. Don't delete it, he probably won't be offended. How long have you two been together?

I guess it's normal to feel that way. Our hormones can make us go crazy at times. LOL
