@sallypup I have a little jug with the same pattern. I love the shape of the jug and I love the Country Garden pattern. Do you have a photo of your blue and white one?

The cake stand is a Royal Albert Cottage Gardens. It was three-tier but Vince broke the top small plate so now it's a two-tier. It's a very pretty pattern.

I have to disagree. What a pity you're not closer. I'd give it to you.

@JudyEv Yes i know they’re huge birds. I have seen photos of emu and I’ve read stories how they’d sometimes follow someone in Australia especially in mating season.

It's a bit small for a real one.

@toniganzon We had a pet emu once and once a year she would lay up to about 20 eggs - one a day every few days until she had a clutch of them.

I will donate it and I'm sure someone will love it. I'm getting a bit cranky in my old age.

@JudyEv oh really? how? what is their characteristics?

@rakski They are very curious and often approach you and can get very close. They are as tall as a person so are a bit intimidating. Bright things attract them and some might be brave enough to peck at, say, a silver bracelet. But you can scare them off quite easily too.

They can be a bit scary in real life too! lol

@JudyEv Maybe us guys feel sorry for the ugly emu. Or maybe it reminds us of ourselves! lol I'm feeling slightly better. Still have a pesky cough that just won't seem to go away. But I'm thinking it may be allergies more than it is Covid at this point, because we've had some extreme pollen days here the past few weeks. I always get severe allergies every spring, and I'm sure having Covid has (or is) going to make my allergies worse since my immune system has been weakened. But I'm alive and up and moving around, so I consider that a good thing.

Most of the men members seem to think it's okay. I wonder what that says about you all. But, in fairness, some of the ladies like it too. Are you starting to feel better yet? I hope so.
