The most embarrassing present that...

...my girl friend received in third-year high school. In my country, every school at all levels has an activity before the Christmas holiday. We usually exchange gifts and have a small Christmas party in every classroom. It is common to open presents on that day. To cut it short, she received a dozen of undies from my male classmate. That makes her feel so embarrassed in front of the class. I just shared this because it is related to my last posted discussion. I am not sure if one of you had experienced it. Did you ever feel embarrassed when receiving a gift or present? What is it? Image Credit: britmums.com

I personally think it is fine to give undies to people who are close to our hearts, such as family members, relatives, and the like.

@LadyDuck Since they do not like us, they can do what they want. Eventually, we stopped dealing with them.

The same thing here. I just felt bad with my girl friend who received this kind of gift. The giver was a really naughty classmate of ours before.

I once received a red small short from a female classmate of mine when i was on grade 4. It was kind of embarassing and disappointing since I am a conservative girl at that time and i never wore small short and short skirts until I was Grade 8. I was expecting a candy or chocolate at that time. Nevertheless, I'm 19 now and every time I wear that red short, I remember how embarassed and a bit disappointed I was when I received it.

I am sorry that she did this. I think she should have asked you before giving a present. Sometimes some people do not know how to be sensitive to others' feelings.

When we were still connected with my late father's siblings, they usually give us unusual presents.

No, thankfully never that. I would silently plot to kill my silly classmate if I ever received something like that.
