10 2 4 The Old Dr Pepper Slogan

Was watching the American Pickers the other day, this show about these guys who go around looking for junk to re-sell. Anyway this one guy had all this old Dr. Pepper stuff, signs and others things. The stuff had 10, 2, 4 written on them and they explained on the show that the company used this slogan because research had shown that people's energy drops at 10am, 2pm and 4pm everyday and at those times they should drink a Dr. Pepper to "pep" them up. I hadn't heard of that but I do notice my energy drops at around those times of day. I guess the sugar levels go down.

It sure was a selling point.Remember that as well for the Dr Pepper. I watched a few of those episodes.

I miss American Pickers. I should check if it is available online.
First time I've heard about that Dr. Pepper slogan.
