Talking About Plans and Dreams

It feels so nice when my young ladies open up their hearts to me. It was last night before going to bed when I went to their room just to say goodnight. I stayed in a little while and we had a heart-warming chat.
My eldest daughter has only one year and a half before graduating college while the second one has 3 more years. They talked about their plans and dreams and asking me questions and solicit my opinions in between.
As a mom, I always want the best for them and I am here to support whatever good plans and dreams they want to pursue in the future.

It's good you still get times like this with your children.

We do really find the time. We have more right now because of the pandemic as we stay home together

That is true. Even my boy loves to share his thoughts with me no matter how silly they are!

It sounds like you are very close with your daughters and they feel comfortable sharing their hopes and dreams with you.

I guess it rooted from when they were still young. I did always find time to share stories with them.

@cherigucchi
They listened to your stories and felt when they grew up that they wanted to share with you. Maybe I am wrong or maybe not.

It's good always being able to talk with your children. I have one son who calls me every day, we live two thousand miles apart.

@cherigucchi I still talk to my mom. But I cannot talk with my father because he is in heaven now.
