Recently in Oklahoma, a puppy was born with two tails and six legs. The extra appendages are caused due to intertwining congenital birth defects. The puppy named Skipper has monocephalus dipygus (congeital duplication) and monocephalus rachipagus dibrachiup tetrapus (rare duplication in the caudal region) which had caused her to have a single head and chest cavity, with two pelvic regions, two lower urinary tracts, two reproductive system, two tails, and six legs as a result. This may be due to the result of a twin that was unable to separate while in utero.
It is also found that Skipper had spina bifida. There have been dogs born with six legs and other abnormalities, however, this is the first case where despite having physical abnormalities such as monocephalus dipygus and monocephalus rachipagus dibrachiup tetrapus, the puppy is born alive.

My cousin adopted a puppy long ago that was born missing one of it's front legs. And the front leg was way shorter than it should have been when the puppy grew up, so when it walked or ran around, it was really amazing to watch. But puppy never knew it wasn't normal, and he lived a long life.
