I am an employee working 9 to 5 job, same repitative work, day in and day out. My life is so boring that I hate when I wake up in the morning, thinking I have to go to office.
I think we all must learn and teach our future generations about finical independence, they must not be cought inside this jail cycle.
What are your thoughts on this?

We must think how much we have invested in our education to put us in our current position. If we want to be financially independent then do we have the capacity and ability for that? Otherwise we have to be content at being employees.

@Thinkingmind I was born not to be an employee. My parents made sure of that. But i wanted to experience being one so there was a time when i was employed but i was loving my job but it was not the salary i cared for. The company i owned are from my parents but several years ago I put up my own along with friends. So i know exactly how it is.

@toniganzon if you are an employer, it's good opportunity for you to create a work environment that gives healthy work life balance

I have seen people's with no formal education becoming financially independent, they have worked hard, no matter, but now they don't have to work anymore. We have to learn finding ways to generate passive income

When I was on the YTS I hated it. I hated the workplaces they put me in. I hated working in a shop (the co-op) and I hated working at RA James. I felt trapped. Now I work for myself and I feel free. I'm so glad I don't have to go out to work for some boss. I hate being told what to do! I like to be able to choose what I do. Is there any way you could go self employed?

Self employed is a one step closer to achieve financial independence. Find ways to creat passive income, you should be earning when you are sleeping

I am in. I agree with you. Life can become easier if we learn how to become financially independent as soon as possible

First of all, welcome to MyLot! I am also an employee and I love my job. I love it when I know that I can extend services to the people. I also do repetitive work most of the time and honestly there was a point when I said to myself that I am bored with this kind of job. But then, I decided to focus on what difference I can make because I am doing my best with my job. There are people who learned new things from me and who are thankful because they met me. Without my current job, I may not had been able to do that. So sometimes, we just need to think of the purpose why we are doing our job.

@Thinkingmind We can always reconsider how we look at things. It may not be easy but it only us who can change the way things are. I am also doing other things apart my job and that is working and investing online. In fact, I am trying every little way that could bring in extra income.
