... name me a more iconic duo, I'll wait.
Always been one of my got-to spreads. I tend to mix up the jelly part. it could be mango, strawberry, guava. For the past couple of weeks, it has been pineapple. I'm not picky about the peanut butter brand but I prefer the creamy variety.
I have a way of preparing my peanut butter and jelly sandwich. One sandwich gets spread with peanut butter, the other gets spread with jelly. The bread with the peanut butter gets to be on top. Sometimes, I toast the PB and jelly sandwich for a minute or two.
Any other PB and jelly sandwich fans out here in myLot?

I love PB and Jelly but don't eat it often. I have some Adam's brand in the cupboard now but like Jif. If I roll it up in a wheat tortilla instead of bread, I'll use the nutty kind if I have it. The jelly I have in the cupboard is apricot. Other favs are grape, strawberry and Marion berry. Fried PB sandwiches are amazing.

@allen0187 I’m a purist when it comes to peanut butter.
I do love jams, etc. on toasted English muffins.

Good that you are able to make your own peanut butter.

I like the kind of peanut butter called Jif with no added sugar.

It is good. A tad bit too sweet for me but still delicious.

@allen0187 At least it's the only one, no peanuts, but I am fine for all the other food.

Skippy is also our preferred peanut butter brand back home and here in NZ. Sometimes we run out of it here though because it is only the American store that sells it and they incoming cargo from the US are sometimes delayed because of the covid crisis. My daughter loves to have Skippy and chocolate Nutella in a pair of sandwich.

Nutella is a favorite of mine as well. Might grab one when I go grocery shopping this week.

@allen0187 You might be right. I have what I need in the cupboard and fridge. I'd make one on toasted bread if I did.

Every once in a while I crave a good PPJ. I like Jiff extra crunchy peanut butter with orange marmalade or grape jelly.

The extra crunchy peanut butter goes well with the jelly.
