How do I get people to answer my questions?

If I post a question I really want to know the answer. Is there another way to let people on my lot know I really want that recipe and all the details.

Well, try to spend more time on mylot. Try to post discussions to generate people interest.

I am trying, but people don't seem to think you really want the answer. It seems they just respond to get the post. If I didn't want the recipe or whatever I wouldn't ask. I'll Just hang in I guesss.
