What do you like about yourself?

People are great at saying what they hate about themselves. But I have always found most people are terrible at saying things they actually like about themselves.
Do you have something you admire about yourself? It can be a physical characteristic or a personality trait.

That's brilliant. What kinds of things do you sculpt? It must be a very difficult skill to master.

@Lindalahughes Mostly animals and people (and faeries). It wasn't difficult to master, for some reason I have some natural talent.

I like myself better now that I've lost some weight. I've gone back down from a size 16 to a size 12 again. Yay! I also like the fact that I'm a nice person and I can empathise with people. If only a nice guy would see this about me! I really need a boyfriend!

@Lindalahughes Oh, yes. I've got a list of things I won't put up with!

They will, totally. But I'm a firm believer in knowing what you're worth and what you won't put up with in a relationship.

I'd say I like the things in myself that I appreciate in other people. I think we do forget to appreciate the traits we admire when they're in ourselves.
I'm honest and open as much as I can comfortably be in any given situation. I like to think I'm a good person, a good mum/step mum/grandmother/wife.
I work hard, have achieved more than I remember to give myself credit for. I'm willing and able to learn, and to teach/pass on skills and knowledge to my children.
I like that I'm creative. Not great at all the creative things I do, but I'll give most things a try, and I am proud of things I make when they turn out well. I'd like to be more adventurous, but I'm working on that!
A physical trait I like would be my eyes. They're big and very green (but they sometimes changed shade and colour). My husband, who struggles to read people and their emotions, says that my eyes give away a lot!
I've often said such things as I feel I'm not really good at anything or I've not achieved anything worthwhile. I'm lucky to have a husband who reminds me of my talents and achievements - and he says I'm beautiful but I'll have to just take his word for that.

I'm glad that you can recognise that you're a good mum etc. And really cool that you'll always give something a try. You'll never know if you're any good unless you try.

That's cool, it's always handy to be able to do hair. Someone always wants their hair done.

I will always be myself. Maybe I am different from other people around me. Probably not. Even though I change because of my surroundings or from within myself, in the end I am still who I am and nothing can take that away from me.
Hope you understand:
