It is amazing that despite Freddie Finkley who served in the U S Army and is currently homeless, he risked his life to save the life of a stranger named Eric Lopez, 34, who was involved in a head on collision with another auto near Pensacola Florida eight days ago. Finkley, 56, took immediate action to pull Eric out of the burning auto facing the risk of injury or even death since the flames were coming through the dashboard to safety. Lopez was taken to a local hospital where he recovered from his injuries in the auto accident that took place in an overpass on Interstate 10. Sandra McFall who is the grandmother of Eric mentioned that Eric and his family owe a debt of gratitude for saving his life. Stephanie Tidwell who is the girlfriend of Finkley said of her boyfriend that he is a man with a heart of compassion who would assist anyone who needs a helping hand. My best guess is that Freddie and his girlfriend will be given donations from a charity site to find a home soon since city officials are calling Freddie a hero for saving a life of a stranger.

I am also hoping so as well since not all homeless veterans are bad people. They are heroes too.

This is scary stuff. Finkley risked his life to save Eric. It seems like there are a lot of burning car accidents.

There are a lot of auto accidents these days I agree with you. I guess that Finkley has taken his lesson from his days in the military to civilian life since soldiers in the military are like a close knit family.
