Some of you might recognize that as a reference to, Alice in Wonderland. This post is about the different fantasy/sci fi/adventure, etc places mentioned in literature, shows & film. I haven't read or seen them all, so, can only go by the ones I have.
What first comes to mind is, Narnia. Based on the series by, C S Lewis. The first being, The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. I've actually only read that one. Though, have seen the first three movies. There are seven books & eventually there will be four more films made. I hope to read the rest of the series before the movie franchise is complete.
I do find the creatures from Narnia interesting. Different types from mythology & folklore. Even more so, it's just the idea of being able to go into one's closet & find a portal into another world. Which we can do already, if we're blessed with an imagination & a sense of adventure. I'd be willing to explore that, if Narnia or any of those other places actually existed. Where would you go, in fiction, if you could?

@prinzcy Some of it was sets. But, it was filmed in NZ. So much of it is real. I'd love to visit there some day.
