What’s the color of the interior of your house?

@BabeSays It's not silly at all. Pretty has deep red curtains and bedspread. I'm just glad she got over the leopard print curtains and bedspread. (She had those for several years and I got really tired of seeing them.)

Thanks DE that’s lovely sometimes feel so peaceful with these white walls. Sounds lovely when you mention the red accent, it reminded me of when I was a teen how badly I wanted to have a red bedroom. Sounds silly I know but it used to be my favorite color.

@DaddyEvil I know that feeling I remember we had a curtain in our bedroom when I was 6 and I was tired of seeing it and didn’t like it.

@BabeSays The parquets do not need a lot of maintenance. We had them sanded when we bought the house, they apply a special varnish after they are sanded, I use a special product to wash the parquet so it remains protected. I live in the south of Switzerland, it is the warmest area of Switzerland, but of course Switzerland is a cold country. It snowed only three times the past winter, a lot less than in the past. We have a real fireplace and a furnace too, to keep the house warm.

@LadyDuck In Mauritius exterminators cost a lot and every year termites ruined most of the parquet. All the parquet owner always complains about termites. I think parquet here are not treated well which results by having termites eating and building there nest.

Light color are always pleasant. Parquet are also very popular here but only the rich are able get it cause it need a lot of money to maintain them. It is a cold country where you live? Which snow and all then you have then best setting for your home.

@BabeSays It's a dusty pink color if that makes sense. It's okay I just don't have time to repaint right now. This wall is textured and I would like to have that all sanded down and smooth.

@kareng oh dear that’s a bit of work. Since our home is new I know the process of sanded and smooth...it’s takes a bit of time.

It’s wonderful to have a colorful house. Different color in different part of the house.

@porwest oh I see. I remember my husband saying same thing to me “white” and I said blue when he painted it white then I said you were right no blue

@BabeSays If it were up to me I'd probably just leave everything white. But the wife would never allow it. lol

Yellow is lovely. My sis in law has painted hers this color and it’s so pretty. Colors does change the feeling.

Thank you @Nameless That’s great take your time and choose the perfect color to repaint it. Purple? OMG it sounds awesome. I can even imagine how it looks like. My niece also has a purple color bedroom and it’s indeed very relaxing. That’s where I spend most of my time whenever during my visit.
