WILD FIRE in LUNGLEI, MIZORAM

Since last three days there have a wildfire happenning in Lunglei Mizoram. The community and the Fire department have tried hard to stop it but all in vain. Due to the lack of resources the fire is still not under control, and to make matters worse the fire is spreading towards the living areas. As of now only 1 fire truck and a small water tanker(which is not in a good working condition) is available.

That's very sad I hope other countries will help in fighting the fire

there is a mention that the Chief Minister is requesting the Indian airfoce to drop water buckets to stop the fire...but negotiation is a longshot

People are very worried...if the fire is not putout soon people will start loosing their houses and watch it burn down to ash
