Okay... So I entered one of my art pieces for an Earth Day contest. I was just informed that my abstract art piece placed 1st in the contest. I was in shock! Supposedly... I say this...because I am not sure how it all will come together. Winners will be interviewed on Silicon Valley -Technology, Art, Green and Sustainability (SVTAGS) that airs on 20 TV Stations in the Bay Area of California. There is also a small stipend for 1st and 2nd place winners. We will be featured in a newsletter that goes to their 20,000 plus email list. We will also be featured in a press release that go to the news contacts they have... They will also want to meet with me in person one day when they come to our area to do some filming. I mean... Even though it is small... This is my very first solid recognition for my artwork. Again... I'm in shock! Eeeeeeeeek!
