A Blue Surprise of Robin Eggs

Another happy day today. Just got back form errands. Saw a few birds flying out of the trees. I knew there were nests in the yard, but so far nothing.... until today.
I climbed between the holly bushes and the house, almost on the ground, looking for a nest. And there it was. A nest full of three gorgeous robin eggs in the holly bush.
I do not recommend doing this. The birds can attack in defense, or they can abandon the nest. But I was determined, as I am every year.
Look at those blue eggs. They are gorgeous. And are about the size of a grape.
Robin babies soon.

@DocAndersen I have never seen a raven's nest. How cool. They might not be very friendly with the camera getting close.

@CarolDM Someone told me quail eggs could be eaten and that ostrich eggs could be eaten. So thought maybe there are other eggs that could be eaten
