pineapples in pizza and burgers!!!

hey all! I personally hated the idea of pineapples in pizzas and burgers like it made me feel cringe all the time and I never wanted to try it. last week I happen to be at my friend's house and we discussed about the same topic and we argued for like minutes. then he took me to a place nearby his home where he ordered burgers with pineapples in it. first I hesitated a bit to take a bite but later it felt so good like it was manipulating a tangy taste to my meal. lol he made me change my mind.
what are your thoughts about it?

I have an open mind when it comes to food. Making things " Hawaiian" ( that's what they call food here that has a choice of pineapple added) won't hurt in fact I think it makes it healthier. They are not my favorites but they are also food that I won't refuse if they were offered to me.

With or without pineapples they are okay to me. I have eaten a lot of pizzas and burgers with pineapples. They add a sweet layer of flavor to the food.

Just the thought of it gives me goosebumps. I mean how can it be nice, its pineapple on a pizza.
Pizza the cheese taste, ummmm.
Pineapple tangy taste.
Separately they are perfect.
Together they should be a disaster.

Have you ever had the opportunity to try it?
It is actually very good.
Makes me think of the first time I tried Javanese food - hot and spicy with cocoanut and mandarin oranges! I thought, how gross, but it was actually so delicious - the sweet/tangy of the citrus contrasted brilliantly.

I think I have had them in both. I do like it with ham on a pizza, and I have had a teriyaki burger that included pineapple. I don't have a problem with the combos.

I saw your title and imagined how delicious it would be. I've never had pizza that has pineapple. But I've eaten cake that has pineapples in it. It was sweet

The idea of putting pineapple in burgers and on pizza doesn’t appeal to me but my philosophy is “to each his own.”
