Finally! It's Weekend!

After weeks of focusing on work, I finally can get a break. From office work that is. I applied for two days leave, combined with Eid and the next weekend afterwards, I would have a total of 10 days break. If they don't call me back to work overtime...
Anyway, I want to do some shopping today. We have 200++ cases in my state alone yesterday. 9 active cases in my village, thanks to a selfish person who came back despite having a fever and supposed to be in the quarantine. So I want to prepare in case of lockdown. It's best to go out and get some food supply. My only concern is veggie. I love fresh veggie. It would be a huge issue for me and Lil Bro as he loves veggie too.
And thanks to the selfish person as well, we're having close door celebration with only video calling family members who can't come back. I'm not accepting any guest and I don't care what others think about this.
The only thing I am thankful is the one in my village is not one of the new aggressive variant. It would be a total chaos if it is.
So, shopping first, catching up on MyLot next.
Have a great day everyone!

I hope your village doesn't get put into lockdown, although that would probably be the best thing that could happen to keep more cases from spreading. I hope you enjoy your vacation. (We call it a staycation when you stay home instead of going somewhere while you're off work.)
If you step through the door, we still have lots of dried veggies from last summer if you'd like some of them? I've been using them in soups and in baking with chicken and beef. YUM!

Another part to be thankful (although not for them), the main affected area is a sub village inside my village. To get to them, we have to go through around 2-3km road. But people from there still come out, hence infecting others unconsciously. After the positive cases, health ministry had asked close contact from that area to do a swap test. Some of the villagers here become second contact until the first contact is confirmed positive.
Not a fun situation to be with. They must be feeling nervous until the 14 days passed.
Dried veggie? You freeze them or what?
