I think I will resort to eating vegetable and fruits only...

... and give up meat and meat products. This may be the solution to address some health issues. I grow up eating meat and I know how hard this habit to give up might be. I don't know yet how to start but perhaps little by little I can switch to a healthy diet if I still want to keep my life longer.

Good luck on that endeavor. I think that switching to a healthy diet can be hard to do at first but when you can do it with discipline it can work wonders for you. I think you should not totally give up on meats just consume less of it and do more of the fruits and veggies. I think meat is an important source of protein when taken moderately.

@ZedSmart I think lessening rice consumption can also help. With Keto diets, they do not restrict eating meat but they cut on carbo and more on fruits and veggies with fish and meat as a source of protein. They restrict or totally stopped bread, rice, and other unhealthy food like sweets.

Yes, I can't imagine without eating them. I now avoid fatty parts but when there's a lechon served, I don't mind eating the skin. I hope lesser consumption can do wonders.

@m_audrey6788 This is still a plan but I'm hoping that I can still able to consume my food choices nowadays in moderation without the need to change. Thank you.

There's a vegetarian shop here and I think I will inquire about their products if I decide to switch this kind of diet.

I am not sure, but I think probably the balanced diet is better. That means to say more vegetables and fruits and less meats

I like to eat more veggies and fruit - it is called Lacto vegetarian, but my breakfast is yogurt and fruit and some healthy seeds..but, I also eat eggs too once in a while - if possible organic - to get Vitamin D - Am 75, and rather healthy.. Occacionally alittle meat..

And healthier too. I have begun what you're starting, and, you're right hard to give up meat. But I've started eating more veggies and fruits, I feel lighter and better. I've knocked a point off my a1c number, hooray! My cholesterol is almost normal, too. Just diet change & more exercise makes a lot of difference and I'm getting healthier.
