Water is corona spreader?

Today I saw it at news channel, that water is corona spreader? It is not assured but it is question that water can spread corona. It is my question to the my lot friends, so please share yours' views.

Are you sure the news said that? Because that kind of thing that creates havoc. If it can be spread by water then it can happen to everyone and everybody.

Few days back I hear from a friend that this virus can spread through water also. Also it will start spreading in to animals also. That will be worrisome if it happens.

Yes animal can be infected, before couple of days some lions are infected in Hyderabad in Joo.

The Mayo Clinic lists the various ways in which the virus might be transmitted. Water (either as drinking water or in pools and hot tubs) is not thought to be one of them and, so far, no virus has been detected in drinking water. If in doubt, I would advise boiling drinking water.. By far the most common form of transmission is by exhaled water droplets which contain the virus and sub-microscopic virus particles (dry).
