Obsession

I love all my weird obsessions ,except my phone obsession.
so when i wake up ,i look at phone , may be i should some how stop this . Give me one idea to stop my phone obsession.I mainly look at instagram and youtube . i use mobile for around 7 hours daily
Note: those are not productive :p

I follow a morning routine. I don't look at my phone or laptop unless I finish things that are needed to be finished. Phone can be a bad addiction and can really put important things in life on hold. I take it only in my designated free time

@dpk262006 Thank You. Actually, I do my online work on a laptop. Only when I need to post a picture, I use my phone for posting here. And sometimes when I have some time at hand and do not want to switch on laptop for such short time, I mylot using phone. Else my phone is only for calls and chats.

You are right. Having a morning ritual or routine is good. And it comes with a few days of practice and sticking to the schedule.

It is up to you how you want to spend your time. It would be better to do something productive rather than checking Instagram posts and watching YouTube.

I agree. Having a morning routine would be good to keep away phone. It just needs few days of sticking to it and slowly it becomes a habit.

can you consider to stop using phone for some time,it can test if phone is really that important for life.i think not.

actually I don't want to use ,but my friends have asked me to keep my phone alert all the time, thats where I stick to phone all the time

It's not a good habit to use your phone for 7 hours a day for non productive things. It's not good to pick up your phone first in the morning when you wake up. Try to engage yourself in morning walk or exercise so that you may not start looking at your phone in the morning. Also switch off your phone at night and open it late in the morning. It's all about your willpower how much you control yourself.

yeah it's bad , from yesterday , I have been controlling it very good ,so whenever I pick up my phone without realizing , I think what I should do ,if it's just instagram and WhatsApp ,I keep my phone right away , so from yesterday ,things were good , still I need to change how many hours I use phone , thanks for the words
