of course, how can anyone not?
There are many traditions associated with the winter and Father Christmas is one of the first ways our little ones become aware of the importance of Christmas. If it weren't for Santa our children would never even start to become interested in the Christmas story.
What good would presents that magically appear under the tree (pagan idea preceding Christian tradions) be if there was no explanation of how they arrived?
My little boys cut pictures out of magazines to stick on their Santa letters and I hope their innocence remains as long as possible.

No, I do not. Do you? I try to keep Christmas in perspective, and it has nothing really to do with Christmas. Christmas is about our Lord and savior, and that is what I focus on.

I believe in the spirit of giving that is associated with Santa Claus, so in essence, I do still believe in him.

I believe, I believe, I believe. The rule in our house growing up was if you didn't believe, you didn't get anything in your stocking or any presents. I tested that theory one time when I was around 10 or 11. Imagine how upset I was to find out that I had nothing in my stocking and no presents under the tree from Santa. I still had presents from my parents but nothing from Santa. The next year I was practically telling everyone I met that I believed in Santa. LOL.
I am now 34 years old and I still believe in Santa. My 4 year old was so excited when he woke up this year to find that Santa had left sooty footprints all over our nice clean floors and that all the carrots he left out for the reindeer was half eaten (thank God for wierdo dogs who LOVE carrots). It didn't hurt that Santa left behind one black leather glove either. So, you can see that my family totally believes.

The story of Santa Claus is real(not the flying reindeer and sleigh of course lol). It was way back when, he was a bishop who had an inheritance or something like that and he would give out gifts to the needy. So I believe in the person that started it all but no, I do not believe in the Santa Claus that it has become. So to answer your question, no I do not.
