Set the Scene Can Spoil the Situation

A friend of mine loves to spoil the excitement when he watched a movie and setting the scene for me, which I hated. For the reason that I haven't watched it. I want to feel the excitement. Sometimes I do not want to see a movie with him because he talks while watching it. How would you feel if a person do this to you? Image Credit: encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com

I would ask him nicely to shut the heck up while I'm watching the movie... and then tell him much less politely the second time and then get up and move away from him the third time. *shrug* There's no reason to ruin someone else's movie watching experience.

I sometimes tell him to eat the popcorn instead of spoiling the excitement. Or, it is better not to invite him when watching a new film.

I do not like to be with people who talk while watching a movie, I prefer to watch movies at home when I am alone.

I also do the same thing. The other family members do not like this kind of situation.

I find this behavior very rude.

I agree. That's why I refrain from talking with him sometimes.

If it is a horror movie, I guess it is fine.

hahahaha, if you watch with him it is better if you have a new movie on the day of the premiere, or if you are annoyed just be honest to tell him to be quiet and watch it carefully, because I also hate it when my friends talk a lot while watching movies

There are just people who like to do that. I agree and understand you for feeling a bit annoyed. I think you just have to stop your friend from spoiling it to you.

I am glad that he is not visiting us anymore. If I am going to watch a new film, he is not invited.

That would depend on the person. Most of the time, I won't spoil. But if it's BFF, we would just share everything, including the ending. Yet we're still excited to watch the movie like we don't even know the storyline

It would be nice to watch the movie together. At least, spoiling it will not happen.
