Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be getting my first shot of the vaccine.
Yes, it is booked for tomorrow i.e 25/05/2021.
After utilizing my whole weekend and jousting with the booking site, I was finally able to book a slot.
Have you guys vaccinated? and how hard it was?
I got my roommate vaccinated, he had an appointment for today.
It was another long fight of standing in line for almost 5 - 6 hours.
I have to repeat this tomorrow and stand in line again for 5 hours.
But I am happy that after a lot of waiting and scheduling troubles, I am finally getting the vaccine.
Peace out

Oh, yes, getting vaccinated is great fun!
I hope you don't get the upset tummy or headache. (I didn't get either with the first shot. But got the upset tummy with the second shot.)
Uhm... I meant to ask, why did you go with your roommate when he got his shot? Here, you aren't allowed to go with someone unless you're both getting vaccinated. I don't know why, though.

@Prabhatsingh You should have called. I would have gone with you.
When Pretty got sick after the first shot she was sick in a couple of hours. When I got sick after the second shot it only took about an hour before I had an upset stomach.
I hope you don't get sick at all. Then you can tease your friend about not being there for you after you went with him.

I am actually counting on that.
A little headache and tummy ache wouldn't be so bad, It would make sense that okay the vaccine is working.
So, I just wanted to make sure that he is okay.
Like some people are having an instant reaction like body ache and headache.
We used our own vehicle to reach the center.
So if he had fallen sick at that point I was supposed to drive him home.
And vice versa.
if today I get sick, he will drive me home.

Got my shot.
Don't feel anything yet. Let's wait and see.
And my friend couldn't go.
In the morning he was shivering from fever himself.
So I picked my bike went there and came back home all alone.

Okay.
yeah I mean if your company is gonna have its own drive then it's cool.
It might take some time to calculate how many people are there and their dependent and placing orders accordingly.
but it's a good thing done by your company.

I got my 2 shots in September and still continue to wear masks--I care about others!
I do not understand why anyone would not get the vaccine and if they do I hope they don't live anywhere near me!!

Well, it's their choice, right?
Like it was your choice that you wanted to get the vaccine and it good that you got both the shots.
The same way others have the same choice, isn't it?

I joined a telegram group, where instant updates of vaccine slots would come.
After that, I just had to be vigilant and make sure that I was on the website logged in within seconds.
it took me 2 days to finally get a slot. and a lot of sitting in front of my laptop.
Tell you what, I will share the link with you in the message.

I got mine at the pharmacy at work, two months ago and have had both already. Once the vaccine was available to the general public or at least those in my age group it was easy getting the appointment for me anyway.
They, not the pharmacy here but some organization did clinics in town and my crew got them done there. They had to wait in line even with appts.
My nephew just got his and hers only twelve.
