Day 287 Promise 756 Revelation 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he who sits on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. People want their basic needs met. They want nice clothes, plenty of food, and water to drink. Beyond that, they don’t want anything or anyone to hurt them. One of the elders in heaven asked John who the people were who were clothed in white. When John couldn’t answer him, he told him they were the saints who came out of the Great Tribulation. God gave them the white robes of righteousness, fed them, and gave them living water to drink. He also took all their pain so they wouldn’t hurt physically or emotionally. As Christians, you know God meets all your needs. You have everything you need; food, water, clothing, shelter, and you have the Holy Spirit to teach you the Word of God. Everything you need is at your fingertips. You also have healing. Psalm 23:1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that says to thee, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. Matthew 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God’s promise to you is to wipe all the tears from your eyes now, in this lifetime. God also promises to do the same for those who accept Jesus as Savior and Lord during the tribulation. No one is left out of God’s promises. Psalm 103:1 (A Psalm of David.) Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgives all thine iniquities; who heals all thy diseases; 4 Who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfies thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Just as God does for you, He will do for everyone who calls on His name, now and during the Tribulation. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for meeting my needs, for healing me, and giving me Your Word to sustain me. Help me to praise You now while I have breath in my body, so all those who meet me will know You take care of me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
