Favorite Citrus Fruit?

My wife loves oranges since her parents had a small grove of eight orange trees when she was growing up in the San Fernando Valley of California. I like them okay. but prefer tangerines or tangelos, sometimes blood oranges. She will squeeze lemon juice on almost any food. I only like it with seafood. She likes Kumquats too, but I don't really.
Some people love grapefruit, which comes in yellow or red. They are both too tart for me. Limes are great, but I rarely use them. I do like Meyer Lemon preserves a lot though.
I must not forget the Key Lime which makes a great pie that I have once in a great while, probably not the authentic one from Florida, though.
There are at least 24 varieties of citrus fruit. There may be some I never heard of.
Anyway, what's your favorite?

@JamesHxstatic It's like lemon pie filling but there is butter in it. It's kind of like a jam or jelly.

@rebelann She made this one with cilantro and red onion and red bell pepper. I did buy some Peach salsa at Trader Joe's and it was so good, I bought more.

She grew up here - and I did too . . . back in the days there were many orange groves out this way. Our yard has a meyer lemon, tangelo, and orange (not sure what kind) trees. I definitely love tangelos (but like most citrus too).

@JamesHxstatic I have these Christmas parties for kids from an Institue each year and oranges are always included. The venue is filled with that aroma when kids peel them.

I guess the citrus fruit I like that best are oranges, followed by pink grapefruit and fresh lemons which I usually like to sprinkle on things like fish and french fries,

I like lemon on fish too. The pink grapefruits are so much better and less sour than the yellow.

@jameshxstatic I breakfast each morning on grapefruit, preferably the ruby variety. Limes are just wonderful and I especially love lime pickle - it tastes positively dirty I find. Lemons are just so good and I stick them in just about anything I'm cooking.

Calamondin? I had to look that one up. Small orange fruit it said. Anne makes salad dressing with lemon juice and olive oil and (too little) sugar sometimes.

@JamesHxstatic Calamondin is also called Calamansi in the Philippines. We usually use it in marinating our meat and making Calamansi juice. I also use it in making salad dressing with olive oil and honey. Enjoy your Sunday.

You're right there are so many varieties of citrus fruits. Some don't grow in one area while abundant in some. I like lemon and oranges.

I like tangerines the most, but I also eat oranges. I don't like grapefruit. I have only eaten kumquats a few times, and I didn't really like them. I like lemon and lime.

I would have to go with Florida oranges, but because of the cirtic acid, I can only eat them very sparingly.

I see those pomegranates. I guess I just liked all the colors. I like apples a lot too and the state I live in, Oregon grows and exports lots of apples to places, including China.
