This morning around 930 I asked one of the staff to buy snacks for us in the office. We have fund for that which I get from my representation allowance. I got so busy with work that I forgot I instructed her. At 11:30 I asked one of the tellers if they had taken their snacks, the teller told me that the girl had a hard time deciding what to buy, because we might not like what she decides. Anyway she finally had decided for a pizza at 3:pm. lol. Since I was out of my office the whole afternoon I just saw a slice of pizza when I got back to my office at 5 pm. I f you were in her shoe what snack would you buy for your colleagues. Budget is 500 pesos or 10 dollar for 10 people.

I think Pizza is something that most would agree to.
Burgers, Chips or Sandwiches could also be an option but some folks might not be too keen for them.
I hope that you finally enjoyed the Pizzas?

Yes, it may appear easy but actually making choices and wanting to please everyone is difficult sometimes.

@florelway Yes I see it now. Well, 10 dollars means around Rs. 700 or so Indian Rupees and that means something that would be around Rs. 70/- per person

Pizza is all right but if there is just a slice for each one, not as enjoyable. I'd opt for chicken siopao or pancit mikibijon. Three piece siomai dumplings would also be good. With cold gulaman.

@florelway Ooops, the seven eleven convenient store is a stone throw away from my home. Siopao is readily available. Even Angel's Burgers. There's a kiosk just right outside the village gate. Pancitan also.
Intrigued by that gulaman with banana essence flavor. I thought I knew all the local drinks. I will ask my daughter to research that. Ha ha

@eileenleyva we have a seven 11 store which runs out of siopao often since the pandemic. That banana essence is that small bottle you can buy from Chinese stores. They are flavor enhancer. Gulaman drinks taste better with it.

I also prefer pancit bihon than pizza. In our area we had limited choices, siopao not readily available, we have siomai but no gulaman drink. I miss the banana essence that they mix with the drink.

Yes that's very practical, you can keep them in in storage boxes if you won't finish.

The girl could have passed a notebook around and have the people write down what they would like for a snack.
