What do you think about doctors ?

I am currently persuing MBBS course in India after qualifying a tough exam .
I really worked hard for getting admission in medical college . I also want to do PG after MBBS .
But sometimes i think that is it worth to do all this hard work ?
I just wanted to know that what people think about this profession and hope this will help me to choose my field .

I wonder why are you getting these doubts. It's a noble profession but unfortunately many are making it a business. We need good doctors who are really into service and not for business. You can be a valuable resource for society.

Thank you for your response .
I know it's a noble profession and i will surely serve my country . But the current situation of doctors is making me sad. Doctors are getting beaten up by patient's relatives.
Not all doctors are making this medical field as buisness,
Many doctors are working really hard to serve the humanity.
Therefore sometimes i fell that these people don't deserve to be treated by good doctors.
I might be wrong here but that's the way i feel about current situation .

Indeed,the current situation is terrible.But everyone is tired,frustrated because of the pandemic.Many lost their closed ones and in rage they attack doctors.
This is pitifull.Now,we can rely only on doctors but yet people are targeting doctors.
Hope the situation normalizes and people understand the importance of this profession.

People are terrified and stressed a lot. Somehow they should understand the situation .
I am also waiting for the life without this daily use masks and sanitiser and with happiness everwhere.
I hope situation will be fine soon

Hi there. You really don't need to think about what others will think about the profession of being a doctor. Chase your dreams and make materialized it. Make it happen. After all it's your dream and not of others. Being in the medical field is one of the noblest professions out there. Any thing that is put into hard work, it will always pay off. Raise your hopes high and follow where your dream take you :)

I know how tough is NEET to clear. Every kid has a dream to become a doctor and you after being so close of your dream thinking that is it worth to do so much hard work
Both kids of my cousin are doing MBBS from Udaipur and I am proud of them that they got selected. Yes you should pursue MD or MS after the graduation as that will help you alot in your profession.

Like you said , my parents are really happy about what I am doing . But I was just worried a lot about the negative people in the society and that's why i posted this question on this platform .
But today's discussion really motivated me a lot .

I feel like doctors are descendants of god.
They treat people and help society.
But sometimes they do get corrupt working in big institutions and forget about the common well-being of the people.

You choose a better topic for current situations as well as ramdev raise questions about our current medical institution and doctors .
But there is no doubt that medicine and medical faculties so costly in india. Also medicine price soo much than its manufacturing cost
