Ai I went to the mall a few weeks ago after my first dose of the vaccine. The closed stores, the employees who are mostly working alone in their stores and the dim lighting made it seem like it was a ghost mall.

Ai @cahaya1983 Our stricest lockdown is also no longer as strict as it was during the first few months of the pandemic. We have checkpoints all over but it can be easily bypassed. How's the vaccination going in your place?

Ai We're currently under the stricest of lockdowns as well as we've been seeing a rising number of cases including that of the Delta variant, our hospitals are packed. But yeah, it really is getting frustrating. The pandemic has really hit us all mentally.

Ai My media consuming habits have been the same, though my book reading has increased. It's my mother who has discovered K-Drama during the pandemic.

Ai Rice is also essential in the Philippines. Our breakfasts, lunches and dinners are eaten with rice. While I myself don't pair my pizza, burger, and spaghetti with rice, I know people who do.

Ai @dya80dya The two podcasts I can think of right now are SpanishPod101 and Coffee Break Spanish. I believe they're both on YouTube. I haven't used Memrise myself, but overall I've heard good things about it.

Ai There's Duolingo and/or Memrise. You can also try looking for decent video tutorials or podcasts. It probably depends on the type of learning you prefer.

Ai As a comic book reader, I appreciate how the DCEU dug up some of DC Comics' obscure and unusual characters, plopped them into a film about an antihero team and then just went with the weird. I'm glad you enjoyed the film.
