Happy Sunday... It's ready and we shared..

Good morning Sunday from this side of the planet It's 10:50 AM here as I write this post. It's a cloudy morning with some drizzle and it seems that it will continue for rest of the day. I can see it getting dark outside and it might pour in no time. Weather is actually quite cold and I needed to take out a full sleeves thick top for the day. We had heavy rain yesterday evening too. It was a breakfast of toast, butter and omellete. I did one hour of mylotting here.. Now it's time to keep moving and do a few chores. I am making chicken curry and rice for my husband and daughters. And I have yet not decided for my vegetarian self. I might take out some of those peas that I stored in freezer and make a delicious curry to go with rice for myself. And today I have made kheer( rice and milk pudding) for dessert. That's ready and I am letting it cool before lunch. The bunch of bananas that I talked about a few days back are ripe and ready to eat. You can see that in picture here. We shared some with our friends. My husband called and dropped it at their doorsteps when he went for his morning walk. We still have a lot. Yesterday I did a bit of Mandala art in the afternoon and felt good about it. Today I would try to finish that if I am in a mood to do it. I will share it here once it is complete. Have a good time in your mylot cornerCatch you later..Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

You are lucky that you have pleasant weather over there. It is hot and humid here, no rain in sight. Good to hear that you are making chicken curry (we have also planned the same for today). I love the banana. These are such bananas which are smaller in size and I know these are very sweet and tasty. These kinds of bananas are not available here in Delhi, however, whenever I visit Southern States I love to have these kinds of bananas. Have a nice Sunday.

It's drizzling here.I agree that this kind of weather is pleasant but it comes with its own downside. Bangaloreans have a lot of allergy issues especially pollen ones and this weather keeps the viruses and infections thriving throughout year and not only during seasonal changes. And it's one city with maximum number of people with bone health issues due to less sun exposure. We get bored and annoyed with rain throughout year and for weeks we feel that damp wall and floors and no freshness. Also not good for laundry. My mom gets such small banana there. They bring it from Bihar. Hajipur in Bihar is famous for such small sweet bananas. It's a bit costlier than regular big ones. Here too they are double the rate of banana robust. We have got this huge bunch free from my husband's friend. He had plenty on his farmhouse and he shared.

@marlina Same with me. It should be just the perfect color and perfectly riped to be eaten. If it is overripe I use it for baking banana breads and muffins.

We are having regular rain here in the later afternoons and nights be it a weekday or weekend. Last night I did hear some thunder sounds too. It is better to share than to let it go to waste. Fruits and veggies are perishable and can not stay for long.

Oh I would love to have more rains here. We do get a few rains and it becomes hot again. These days I am getting less bananas as they rot faster. Looking forward to catch on some rest during this weekend.

@LadyDuck My daughters enjoy banana bread as their evening snacks with their milk. So they often bake it and store it. it is a healthy snack and I do not mind them having it more often. The preparation of this halwa is a bit different. Instead of sugar syrup, we add banana and milk blended together for the sweetness. So it is a natural sweetener there. I can enjoy it despite my diabetes
