Today's Potting: Purple Wisteria

I managed to get outside for a bit late today for about an hour after I finished cleaning the dog's water bowls and tubs. I decided today to dig up some wisteria and pot. I have several of the wisteria already potted and rooted but when they are in the middle of the yard or field the hubby monster mows them down.
Today I saved four wisteria plants from the mad man on the mower. I did put some things around one that I wanted to save and he graciously spared it. I just focused on those in the middle of the yard today and didn't want to over do it as I pulled something yesterday in my back.
I timed it just right too as it started sprinkling as I potted the 3rd one. I hurried up and got all four of them potted and left them for the rain to water them down good. I ended up gettin soaked before I was done. Ha!
Did you get an afternoon shower or thunderstorm today?

Glad you were able to plant and save the plants from your husband. Sorry, you were soaked in rain. No nothing here just hot and humid

We can set our watches to our daily afternoon thunderstorms! It's been rainy every day since about the beginning of June. Our rainy season is definitely here!

@moffittjc Right! I hope it moves on across the state quickly! I heard on news yesterday that some areas in FL will be without electricity for a couple of weeks possibly. That won't be fun at all.

@kareng We've had all-day rain affairs for the past three days, and no end in sight with Elsa approaching.

I'm just doing things a little at a time and then resting. So far we are doing good with that. In the past it has been to where I couldn't stand back up straight. Not sure if I will dig more today. It's hot, hot, hot outside and I need to go to town to call Social Security. Fun--NOPE!

@kareng Good luck with Social Security! The cold front has come through; and it's 70ish today and less humid. Have a good weekend.

@kareng i would put his stuff near the things you don't want run over. It will reduce the speed (that is what my dad did)!

It’s pouring right now, but the rain generally missed me yesterday.
Glad your wisteria was saved.

@wolfgirl569 Good I hope you can dry out! Although we were lucky this week with rain every other day, it is still on the wet side. The zuchinni are still looking bad and I didn't have to water on no rain days but tomorrow sounds like an all day rain day! That will set us back for sure.

@kareng In less than a week we have had almost 3 inches. Getting close to too much. But the next few days look dry.
