Exciting news about my niece-in-law

Some of you may remember that a while back, I asked for your prayers for my husband's niece, Donna who had pancreatic cancer.
After many tests and procedures, the doctors said she has a mass in her pancreas, but it's benign and not cancer!
She has pancreatitis and that's been extremely painful, but she's being treated for it.
Thank you so very much for your prayers and kind wishes. She's like a second daughter to us.
Praise our loving Father God for his healing mercy!

@kareng Thanks, she'll have another MRI in August to see if the mass is growing and whether they need to remove it.

I am so happy to hear of this.
I know that it is very rare.
I had it myself when I was a child, they advised my parents that the brain tumor that they removed from me was cancerous. They began to speak to me about treatments, although they never called them that. They told me that during the weekdays I would stay at the hospital and get special medication, then on Friday evening, my cousin, whom also lived in the same city, would drive me home to my family while she went home to her family after her workweek was done. One day when my parents came to the hospital to see me, the staff were so excited to give them the news, but they were not allowed, my doctor was on the ward doing rounds, and they arranged it so that he would be able to give the good news to my parents. And then they began preparing me for my discharge date.

@1creekgirl This is surely a major concern, as a surgery is never pleasant.

I know she's still concerned about if they'll need to remove the mass or not.

I don't know if the pain and nausea is entirely from the pancreatitis, or if the mass has an effect.

It is a blessing. Pancreatic cancer is very agressive.

Another MRI next month will determine if they need to try to remove the mass.
