Had the Covid Test

First things first: the photo is of our Ice Princess taken at camp. I LOVE her hair that way. What do you think? Back to the Covid test: had an appointment, taken immediately, asked to blow my nose, cotton swab inserted not too far up my nose, swirled around 5 times, repeated in right nostril, almost sneezed or laughed because it tickled, and done! Easy peasy. Hope I don’t have covid, so I can get that colonoscopy overwith on Friday morning.

I've had 2 COVID tests in the ER and they were awful.

So sorry! Now they don’t have to stick the swab into the brain I was told.

@DianneN What would the Doctor do if you had a small brain and it came out on the swab.?

When I go up there, I will ask god why is it that he makes kids grow up. He is answerable, at least to me. I hope you are COVID negative. I will tell Sun God to check on that and your colonoscopy. He is good with both. English question: The first sentence - should there be a question mark at the end, or not? I am confused again this morning. No I did not drink last night. Just that nowadays, this alien language confuses me a lot more.

@DianneN Then why "what do you know" does not have a question mark at the end sometimes. I am still not drunk.

@vandana7 Whoever writes it that way either forgot to put in a question mark or is an idiot.

Well, we certainly hope kids get to grow up, but it happens too quickly! Thanks so much. The covid test came back negative, so the colonoscopy is a go. I truly appreciate your telling the Sun God. Yes, there should be a question mark, because I asked a question. If a sentence begins with Who, Why, What, When, Where, or How, you are asking a question. Therefore, you need a question mark. We call those Interrogatives. Think of of interrogating criminals. You ask them questions.

Hoping I can avoid a Covid test...I have my vaccine card so hopefully that will do. I am surprised it is cool enough anywhere to wear a sweatshirt.

The hairstyle looks nice and as that word goes - apt (being a kind of Grammar Czar, may be ! ). Oh that nose checking thing looks so painful and awful !! Well I just hope that everything stays fine for you !

Yeah they don’t have to do as far in as they where at the being because the test got better so it’s not as far still doesn’t feel so great but it didn’t feel like someone tickling your brain.

@DianneN it’s now like 4 inches in vs 6 inches in it makes a big difference. The end results are actually the same. For the rapid test. They can always send that out to be cultured with takes about 3 days for enough of the virus to build up to see if you have it.

Looks like your test was done quite fast. I think that one that made it easy is they allowed you to blow your nose so that they would not insert the swab very deep in your nose. I do not like the feeling of that one at all.

@DianneN I already had swabbed twice this year one was for myself to be able to work again last January and another one was for the office random routine test for employees reporting to work. Both tested negative already.
