Living with rescued animals. / myLot

when I moved to Greece I saw many stray dogs and cats in the streets, outside the supermarkets etc. That was 14 years ago and my husband and I have been rescuing them ever since. At present we have 6 dogs and 4 cats. Have you rescued an animal? They come with problems if they have been ill treated or running wild for a while. It has been an interesting and sometimes sad experience for my husband and me.

Yes, my pets were strays. Now there are cats dumped off at our country home. I have to try to find a home.

I'm sure that is a rewarding, if sometimes sad, experience. It's good of you and your husband to do this. Thankfully we have few strays in the towns in Western Australia.

My pets are all rescued. I had one cat for sixteen years, with lots of adventures,until she developed a tumor and ha to be put down. You do good things. We cannot help them all.

Lucky dogs and cats. Maybe if I would rescue some animals I would prefer to have dogs because they are good at watching your lawn.

All my cats were strays. I just want to give them a good home. I can't rescue all though :-(

I do like wild too, I try to rescue any wild animal in danger; you are so kind indeed
