Kidding season has begun for my sister and nephew

After attending the horse endurance ride, we stayed with my sister for three nights. She and her son raise goats and we were there to see the first of the new kids being born. These twins are only a few hours old but are strong and healthy. They are under an infra-red light to make sure they stay warm.
A single was born the same day and since then another three have been born. They have around 50+ goats to kid and many will have twins or triplets so the goat population on their place will increase dramatically. Aren’t they cute?

Yes, they are very cute and no, I won't show this pic to Pretty. I don't want to raise goats in our back yard.

@JudyEv We probably could but Pretty would probably want to keep them in the house and I'd really rather not.

@DaddyEvil We have a tiny patch of grass here. Maybe I could just have one.

@JudyEv I am going to miss having them. Thinking about selling down to just 2 for pets.

@wolfgirl569 All pets are a lot of work. Two wouldn't be so bad.

@JudyEv Here in this state you need to have 5 acres to have farm animals. Anybody who had a goat here would probably get a letter from the board. It is pretty silly, because all the lots here are one acre plus..it isn't like you are on top of your neighbors.

They are beautiful, they are also useful, the goats give milk, they make delicious cheese, and also eat all the weeds in the yards.

@YuleimaVzla The Nigerian dwarves have very short legs. They look very funny if you're not used to them.

@JudyEv I did not know of that race. She is simply beautiful. They look like stuffed animals.

They are adorable! That's a LOT of goats. I hope they raise them for the milk and not to eat!
