We had to go out to the Giant Eagle in Geneva to get another copy of our COVID-19 vaccination cards -- I never lose anything; but I couldn't find these cards anywhere...so since we were more than halfway to Red Lobster, we decided to have dinner there.
The weather was glorious, low 70s, and with only a couple of passing downpours -- then the sun would come out again. I had Paypal money to cover dinner; and we had earned a free piece of Key Lime Pie from their Red Lobster Rewards program.
I had a crab cake appetizer, then clam strips, scallops, another crab cake, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, Brussels sprouts and their great Cheddar Bay Biscuits. It was so good; and we had enough left over for another meal.
What have you been up to? Have anything good to eat lately?

Reading "Geneva" for a moment I thought you came to Switzerland, there is surely more than one Geneva in the United States. We stayed at home, the weather was pretty bad. This morning we both received a $ 50 voucher from the Mayor to spend in one of our local stores. As they could not host the annual National Day party they are sending the money to all the families who live here.

We had Mexican last night that was great. I have to go back and try the quesedeas my hubby had. It looked very good. It was also a dish that would give me a second meal. He tried to eat it all but ended up eating the shrimp and some of the filling to finish it off.
Going to Shaggy's later this week for seafood. I may have to get their eggplant. It is so good and another meal that is huge for 2 meals in that dish also.

@LindaOHio Oh wow! You will find differences here in U.S. just like with Chinese food. There is the Americanized version and authentic. The place we went to last night was authentic.

@kareng As long as there are no onions and it's not too spicy, I would give it a go.

I've only had Mexican food once or twice in my lifetime.

Your meal sounds delicious!
I make a keto version of cheddar bay biscuits that I love. I use almond flour but now that I have carbulose flour (marketed as a bisquik alternative) I will try the biscuits with that.
I am a little envious of your temperatures because ours have been higher lately. I think we have a few lower temp days coming this week.

@LindaOHio Why can't the whole year just be in the 60's and 70's?

Glad you enjoyed the picture. I'd like 2 or 3 of those little guys. You would have a lot of seafood there. I'm jealous!

@DocAndersen My husband's favorite place was Maine. They have two-fers on lobster which is very inexpensive...at least it used to be.

I think I know where my card is. I took a photo of it while I was waiting after the shot, and it’s on file at both the hospital that gave it to me and the VA, so I’m good. I have the photo on my phone so I can show that anytime.

Me too. The only thing I can't stomach is shrimp. It's the texture that turns me off.

This summer, for the most part, has been too hot and humid.

If the vaccination card is an electronic file, it will be much more convenient. Wish you well.

It's a paper document. But now we have a copy. Thank you.
