I like homemade foods as well but im also a lover of junk food. I just recently started dieting so I don't eat it as much but I still love it every now and then.

it's all about conditioning too - we are trained from a young age that junk foods are an acceptable part of our diet. we are taught to associate junk foods with a good time, like pizza and soda at a party. we feel deprived of more than just a part of our diet without them

Define junk food?
If I have mince meat with a meal it’s healthy. If I turn that mince meat into hamburgers it’s then junk food?
No. You don’t need to eat junk food, only if you’re bone idle and have no idea to cook do you ‘have’ to use junk food.
Do I? No. I don’t.

i tend to define junk food based on how much processing happens between plant/animal and finished food product. for example, a bit of sugar to sweeten coffee is not junk food, but when i take that sugar and process it into the filling of a twinkie, well, that is

If junk food is the same as fast food: no, we can not live without it, because in modern everyday life occur situations when it is impossible to wait in a restaurant or to undergo the procedure of cooking.
But to rely totally on it, say daily at lunch time, would be a mistake, since referring to minerals and vitamins junkfood isn't balanced at all.
What is the solution?
Let's allow ourselves occasionally junk food and let's correct the mistakes by some good nutrition supplements like vitamin pills, mineral pills and protein shakes. I have very good experience with this combination and have been relying on Herbalife supplements now for more than 3 years. I feel very good this way.

Junk food is just junk and if we really care about our health then we should avoid it and eat the healthy and nutritious food. Instead of its bad effects younger generation is very fond of eating the junk food. We should encourage them to eat the fresh vegetables, fruits and drink juices.

Live YES! Want to...No way!
Seriously...junk food was created out of "likes". People like it, that's why more and more are developed. I don't think the cavemen had junk food to survive. (Unless of course it was something like dino-rawhide or something like that...)

Junk food is everywhere today, i think we all eat this but aslo we control ourself refferin to quantity. But sometimes when you are far away from home, hungry and the only option you have is junk food... mean that is also helppfull to keep you strong until home.

I do not eat junk food. I eat healthy food because I have a coupld unhealthy habbits that I need to balance out. Junk food is not appealing to me anyway. I also stay away from candy of all kinds. I don't like candy either.

Physically, we can live without junk food. We mainly eat junk food because it is convenient and also it satisfies us menatally. Junk food has become our comfort foods and is making most of us obese (me no exception).

We can absolutely live without junk foods. It would be alot easier to do if junk foods were never invented, which I wish they werent. Maybe then I could fit into all my clothes!
