Kid in Paisley's Daycare Tested Positive

Sonora, California
August 5, 2021 3:41pm CST
Someone from Paisley's daycare tested positive. We aren't even sure that Paisley was around the child, but out of precaution we are all taking the necessary precautions. No one is sick, thankfully, just airing on the side of caution.

Hopefully everything is okay. It's definitely worrisome, but I'm glad you guys are taking precaution.

It's okay, we should be fine, the kid may not have even been around Paisley, just taking the necessary precautions

@LindaOHio But this is the fifth time the daycare has done this to her, so she’s considering pulling her out for good..l

So far she's okay, she may not have been around the kid, they were in Fla visiting relatives for a couple of weeks, and then had Dr's apps in San Francisco, so she didn't get back to school till last Thursday I believe

I hope she doesn't get sick. I'm hearing of a lot of friends here who have gotten Covid in the last week. It's sad.

@Michellekidwell It seems like they would have said if in same class or not in the class to ease the parent's minds a bit. I would be calling to find out.

So far, everyone is doing well, we're just all airing on the side of caution. We're not even sure she was around the kid, but airing on the side of caution

@kareng Her Mom did, all they said was a kid at the daycare tested positive, but wouldn’t elaborate. Amber’s airing on the side of caution and pulling her out..l

It’s best to air on the side of caution. I know you know.

Hello. the period of time it takes for a virus to incubate in a healthy body is between 10 to 12 days, and even 14 days. This does not mean that this person has infected your child, however it is good that you are taking preventive measures, since covid-19 is also usually asymptomatic. I recommend that you immediately look for a test to determine if it is positive or negative and at once get rid of doubts

@Michellekidwell I don't blame you. I recall when chicken pox, and measles, and mumps were contagious. Now this is deadly.
