I think I am going to lose...

...my job online. Most of you knew that my job is to teach the English language online to non-native speakers and it seems that China is making a big fuss about it now. To cut it short, China is banning all these companies. I heard that one of these companies shut down. I anticipated that it will happen in my current company, too. I am trying to apply to other international companies. Hopefully, I can have a job online soon. Are you not worried to lose your job because of this pandemic? Image Credit: jobtoday.com

It costed a lot of money for parents to let children learn in tutorial class,it will let Chinese parents don't dare to breed more baby. But now the CCP needs more babies to enslave,to be their blood bags.So many tutorial classes are shut down, meantime,it's easier for CCP to brainwash the children in the school and ban the kids from touching the outside world.I'm not surprise they'll do it.Because after all, they don't care the future of Cathay or the freedom of Children. They only care their own privilege and heavenly life. For this, they can do anything Now in Cathay, people gradually lose their rare freedom, you can't speak your voice without leaking your privacy to the Social medias like QQ,Sina,Douyin. These social medias are all under the supervision of CCP.I have to say Cathay is gonna be Second North Korea if these bad situations don't be stopped. Sorry for your situation,i wish you can keep your job,and live happily

Don't be worried. There are other international companies to apply with. In fact, I am going to work in a Japanese company next week. China is really so strict with online thing.

I agree. As of today, I nailed the demo teaching of one of the companies that I applied to. I need to wait for two weeks for the final result. While doing so, I will keep on applying until I can get the right company for me.

Why are they making a fuss about it? Are they trying to encourage the company only hiring locals?

I think the company is having a huge problem with the local government in China now. Good luck to them and to the virtual teachers.

There are so many changes. I found some companies with the same industry. I will have interviews and tests with them next week. Currently, I have a backup and that is to work in a Japanese online tutorial company.

@cabuyogty I have a strong feeling that the company will close anytime soon. It happens with its strong competitor last month. I hope I can find a replacement the soonest.

I hope you will find a better job than the one you lost. I am retired and the only job I want is taking care of my pets, home and myself. As for anything online well they do not earn very much but it is nice to get the little amounts from sites like Mylot or the giftcards from sites like Bing.com.

Thankfully I'm retired which is good thing seeing there is a pandemic on. I hope you're able to find a new position if your company has to cease business.

This pandemic has made things such that we cannot estimate what will happen next day.
