As you know I have dedicated the weekend to rest and relaxation and I have been doing that most of today. I did run to the store to replenish paper goods: toilet tissue and paper towels. I had heard on the news that people were hoarding again and we were totally out of extra toilet tissue.
I did find that the shelves were almost bare but that was because the Saturday shoppers had just about wiped the store clean.
I caught up on notifications today and did some reading. I will continue that that tomorrow after lunch.
What did you do today? Did you have some fun on your Saturday or have to work? Or just spent the day relaxing?
Heading to bed now! See ya'll later today!!

Oh no, the hoarding started again? Reminds me of the days before the first lockdown started here. Lucky people didn't do that before the second and third lockdown.

Oh, no! Not the paper hoarders again?!! I posted an update this morning. My husband's Godson/cousin took us out for my hubs' 80th birthday.

Good thing that people here are not buying too much for their needs. It is hard to buy if people do buy too much because they are worrying about tomorrow This pandemic is really something
I just relax and enjoy mylotting

@wolfgirl569 My husband uses them like they were leaves pulled off the trees around here. A six pack only lasts about two weeks here.

Overdoing it last week with back to back out of town trips and on my feet too much combined with the heat have me still drained. I have the closing shift again tomorrow from 2 until 6 pm. I planned on going early to add some new merchandise. I'm just hoping I can get there for 2 pm now!

@DocAndersen I know better. Have to stick with routine with the Fibromyalgia and arthritis I have. When I do too much, I pay. So no more back to back days running to Baton Rouge unless someone is in the hospital. I just can't do it.

My Saturday consisted of relaxing AND working! Spent the morning at Disney doing a little shopping (for 50th anniversary merchandise), and then drove home and straight to work! lol
I'm stocked up on TP for the moment, but I was shocked the other day when I was in the grocery store and saw the prices. They are astronomical right now. Our shelves were full, but those prices were outrageous. Maybe I should resort to using coffee filters or leaves when I run out of TP! LOL

Yep, prices are going up on everything!! The shelves were almost bare here in my little town yesterday. Saturday is a big shopping day but the whole shelf of TP and paper towels were almost cleaned out totally. I was lucky with the paper towels; I got the last package of the kind I wanted.

@kareng I was in the grocery store today. Shelves were fully stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. But I’m going to keep my eye on them now just in case.

@kareng Doesn't surprise me people are still doing the hoarding thing. I can understand why people do it but it isn't really necessary. The same thing is still happening here in some parts of Australia. (not here at the moment thank goodness).
I didn't do much today. I've been sleeping a lot lately and trying to reverse that but for now, not much going on. Nothing exciting.
