Do You Prefer Wrapping Paper or a Gift Bag

I was just thinking that I need to go out and invest in a few rolls of wrapping paper for the grandchildren's birthday presents that are coming up. As much as I hate wrapping lol, which really means that I'm terrible at it, I don't think that there is any fun in simply opening a gift bag to see what is inside. My daughter-in laws are the total opposite. They are all for gift bags and in a way I can understand their choice. They are a lot busier that I am and when I was their age, I don't think that gift bags even existed. At least I don't remember them. So, today's question... do you buy wrapping paper or gift bags. As for my wrapping ability... that is for another post if I ever get around to admitting how bad that I am at it. ;)

I prefer paper bag. It can still be used afterwards.

Chris is always fussing at me about for not wrapping his presents. As receiving gifts, I don't mind either way. But giving gifts, I prefer to give gifts in gift bags.

I prefer wrapping because it's cheaper.

Sometimes I do wrapping paper, sometimes I choose the easy way. It depends on the gift. It it's too large, gift bag is a good option. And I always add a hand written message.

Yes, I like gifts to be wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper as it makes a gift more appealing.

It depends on the gift and who it is for. Kids stuff always gets wrapped. Too much fun watching them unwrap.

I don't wrap well so only use it for the little ones who love ripping paper more than the gift. I use gift bags for the rest and they recycle them so we can keep from too much trash.

For kids? Wrapping paper. For adults? Gift bags. Kids get so excited about tearing up that paper wanting to see their surprise! I love to watch them too!

wrapping paper at first and then put it inside the paper bag. That's what I always do when it comes to give a gift to someone. To me, even though they would not bother about what is inside but giving to someone is an honor and I should give them in a nice look. Or It could be that I am a perfectionist person, so I always give the best for them and I don't mind with that ??

I prefer to get and to give gifts that have been wrapped with pretty ribbons and bows. I have never really been much for the gift bags, although I know that they can be done up nicely.

I like you am not so good at wrapping and well I am kind of lazy about it too so I prefer the gift bag. So much easier to deal with. But your right probably not as fun to open.
