My Day: Wednesday

Today was fairly uneventful. We both slept late. I knew I would need a good five hours after staying up all night long. I got up right before noon and got started on the morning chores and feeding dogs and chickens. I then got a package ready to return that needed mailing off at the post office so took care of that. I have another return that has a pre-paid Fed. Ex. postage label but we don't have a Fed. Ex. in town. I do think that they make pick ups at the drug store though. I will check on that probably Friday. I had trouble getting the label to print. It was either too small or very big taking up the whole 8 1/2" by 11" area of the paper. We settled for the latter and will just bring the other half of the page to the side. I managed to get the information I needed for the Medicaid paperwork for my mother on the phone and came home and finished that application for renewal. I will drop this off at the office in Baton Rouge tomorrow since we are going that way instead of trusting the mail to get it there before the 9-2-21 deadline. My husband has a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I scheduled my appointment for first dose of the Covid vaccine. Might as well get that done since the new varients are proving to be worse than the first round. This does look like something that will require annual booster shots and I am not happy about that. I ended up taking a nap late in the day today and now I feel better but still drowsey and I feel like I could crawl back in bed.
