My simple lunch this day with Jack, LOL

My dear niece bought me 1 cut jackfruit, the remaining one, as what you see in the image. It's 100 ($2) pesos shocking . I was in Cloud 9. Jackfruit is among my favorite fruits. It has robust meat. I ate it all after lunch.
My lunch is so simple small rice 1 cup spread, 1 cup veggie with sweet peas, potatoes, spinach and tuna tocino. Beside big bananas 
, plus sea grass.
It's so timing I'm so hungry after my online class at 9-12.Then to resume this afternoon from 1:30-6:00.

@cacay1 not sure if it has something to do with the weather.
In one of the houses that we rented when I was youger, there was a jackfruit tree and the owner always gave us some when it bore fruit.

@allen0187, I've eaten back jackfruit after 2 years. I don't know why very few planted jackfruit. This is a superb fruit.

The picture has not been uploaded. I like jackfruit and ice cream with real jackfruit chunks in it is my favorite one.

Very complete lunch. Sweet jackfruit is always suitable after eating savory foods
The price of a whole jackfruit here (depending on weight too) is around $6. I rarely buy it, it's just that someone sometimes comes to give us jackfruit, like your story. You are lucky with your sweet jackfruit
