Blackberry Jam Biscuit Breakfast

Biscuits are one of many favorites I enjoy. Not many breads I don't enjoy actually.
Today I made homemade biscuits and added butter with blackberry jam. So good.
Sometimes I will bake a few slices of bacon or an egg or two. Today I just wanted the biscuits.
I will also have another slice of banana bread later.
There are leftovers to have one later as well. Hoping for a peaceful day.

Blackberry jam sounds delicious. Was it a farmer's market purchase, something you made yourself, or a grocery store pick up? I do not see a lot of blackberry jam in the stores is why I'm asking. Possibly just am not seeing it.

Breads are no doubt my favorite food, along with chicken of course. This made me smile:) I had two slices of toast yesterday for lunch, with blackberry jam and one egg

I was craving bacon this morning at work, so I offered to treat all my staff to breakfast if someone would take my credit card and go pickup the order. We all had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, and biscuits. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the meal this morning was the biscuit. It was very soft and fluffy, and oh so good with butter added to it.

i haven't had blackberry jam in a couple of years (we used to drive by a farmers market on the weekends that had wild berry jams).
