Some of you knew that I am using my late father's name. The primary reason is to always remember him deep inside. Today is his birthday and we are planning to buy his favorite foods in a local restaurant here. It may sound weird but it became a family tradition when he departed to heaven a few years back. Yesterday, I went to the local church to offer a prayer for him. He must be with our creator and friends right now. They are busy preparing for it.
Do you or your family still celebrate the birthdays of your loved ones in heaven?

@Shavkat Yeah I was not sure, close enough said, 27th at time written maybe. Here anyway. Tajikistan had look that up, apparently a lot of the world loves Afghanistan more than I thought, not that it should matter I am just found whole world erupting over this after all the other atrocities we do and world so upset over this is pretty amazing. Well I will say that to any country, you should on that before you start a war with any country. Its not a freaking game.

I and my family do not personally celebrate the holidays of my loved ones in heaven but I think that those who do it is not doing anything wrong as this is a way to remember the deceased relative and also makes the person in heaven knows that they are still loved and wants to be taken in communication from the spiritual realm to the earthly realm. In heaven also the person who has their birthday celebrated will also stay young and not go through the aging process as we do here on earth so celebrating their birthday is an ageless one.

No, I don't. Though, it's almost bittersweet, that my husband's mother passed between her birthday and mother's day.

Happy Birthday to your dad in heaven, I know he is with you and happy that you remember his birthday, I always remember the birthdays of loved ones who have passed on and usually light a candle on that day,

No we don't celebrate the Birthday of relatives or friends, who have passed away. Yes, I do think about my parents, on their Birthday.
