Finally, after 6 months, we received our refund from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) for our 1040-X Amended Tax Return. The amount was about $3 more; so it looked like they paid us interest.
I received a coupon via email for Longhorn Steakhouse for a free appetizer; so we went there for dinner yesterday. My chicken tenders were very good; but my husband again received an undercooked steak. He sent it back; and it came back just about the same. He was not a happy camper. By the way, we chose the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer. Yum.
Our little housekeeper has sold 5 houses in the past month due to the really hot housing market and still has not had time to come over. Hopefully she will be here on Wednesday because I have a lot for her to do, including helping me pack.
Update on the AC issue - Called the company that installed the heating and AC. They are scheduling for NOVEMBER 12!!! I called a couple other companies and should hear from them tomorrow. I want to get this fixed before we leave.

How does he like his steak? Chefs prefer medium-rare. Sucks that even after they did it over it didn't come out how he wanted it.

@lovebuglena Yes, I have a very detailed list. We have to drive because we have to bring a wheelchair, rollator, shower chair, etc.

Glad you enjoyed the photo. Yes, maybe the 3rd time was the charm. He took it home and heated it up in the microwave. Then it was cooked to his liking. Good to see you here!!
