Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!!

So the last couple of days we have been dealing with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicholas. As if Ida wasn't enough, Nicholas came right through Louisiana and headed north. We have had rain here at my house in Mississippi for the past two days and nights just about non-stop. There was a flash flood issued for lower Louisiana and Baton Rouge with roads closed due to flooding. I worked at Girl Boss yesterday and didn't have any problems getting there but the weather was awful. We had more rain today and I'm sure will get more though the night. The rain is supposed to let up some tomorrow and I will be more than happy to see that! Have you been affected by this tropical storm and also getting lots of rain? I don't know if the rain we got all last night and half of today was from the tropical storm or not... Yesterday it felt like we were swimming through the air with the humidity at 98%, though... (Or maybe 95%... I'm not positive now.) After the rain stopped the humidity dropped to 89% and it's felt much better.

I don't think he has made it that far north but could be wrong. He is pretty much stalled!! He needs to get up and go somewhere else!!

I hope it doesn't set in. We have this hurricane which is now a tropical storm pretty much stalled over us. It's time for him to leave!!

I hope you do not get flooding. So many are having a time right now in that area. Stay safe. No rain here.

So far we are good at the house in LA. When I went to Girl Boss Thursday the river that floods our subdivsion there was just over the levee which just causes flooding to camps right on the river. If the rain will hold off and give hours of drain time, we will be okay.

Yes, but after this month it should slow down dramatically! I remember back in the 80's we had one in November!

Today we are supposed to get a break in the rain with a dry system pushing in. I hope so because I don't really want to drive in the rain today.

I would love to send you all this rain. We don't need it here since hurricane came through 2 weeks ago.

Not a lot of rain here in the Midwest and when we did have storms fortunately there wasn't the level of disasters that others have had to endure considering we are in Tornado Alley large in part. I hope you get some nice weather soon. Im so excited for Fall myself.

We don't have much of a Fall here in south Mississippi or Louisiana. I did plan a little getaway to Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains for early November to take in the pretty views. I'm just hoping we don't miss all the pretty leaves.
