Out of mind

I am definitely out of my mind and need a rest. I spend over three hours on the phone this morning trying to solve a problem with a medical supply order for my husband and one for me. These were two separate orders.
After4 being passed around to several people I hung up and called 20 minutes later. I was fortunate in having a person answer who actually knew what she was doing.
She stayed with me until the problem was resolved. She was truly a jewel in the customer service department.
Now in the aftermath I am sitting here with a headache and blood pressure that read 167/102. With all the medication I am taking you would think it would stay low. But, this was the most frustrating morning I can remember having in quite some time.
So, how has your day been so far? I hope it has been healthy, happy, and safe.

@marlina Absolutely. I have my blood pressure taken and sent in to the doctor three times a day. He called me and had a fit.
@JimBo452020 my doctor was not happy.

My day started off great, then I got into sort of a depressed mood, but now I feel better. Sorry that your morning was frustrating, but glad that you got everything resolved. I think one "good" thing about bad customer service is that it can make us appreciate the good customer service even more.

I take my blood pressure only once a day at the same time on the same arm---otherwise it can/will drive you crazy!!
By the way AARP in their monthly bulletin paper has an excellent article on dealing with calls and orders!!

What an aggravation! Glad you got someone who helped you. Don't let idiots cause you to suffer with such high bp reading, although that's easier said than done.
That's happened to me and one time I really thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I was on the verge of hysteria!

It makes me crazy trying to deal with some of these customer service people. I used to be able to take it in stride. I am sorry to hear about the effect customer service had on you that one time. I don't know if they are trying to make things hard on you purposefully or if it has to do with not knowing the ins and outs of their job.

With the medication you're also taking, it's definitely way too high blood pressure. I know it's easier said than done, but take care of yourself first! Unhelpful people are a daily reality and when you "get" to the normal person who is nice and just doing her job it seems to us an exception
We mush learn the ability of coping with the stressful situations in our lives without the high blood pressure events.
Take care
