We went to Home Goods recently and hubby saw a wooden barrel for holding whiskey.
He decided to buy it.
Cost him $39.99 + tax.
I don't know what he is gonna do with it.
Right now it's in its box sitting on top of one of the dining room chairs.
I don't know where he is gonna put it if he takes it out of the box.
We don't really have anywhere to display it.
There is a glass shelf thing in the basement meant for storing liquor bottles but there is not enough room there to fit this wooden barrel.
At least I don't think so.
Will have to see...
I wonder if you can hold any other alcohol in there besides whiskey...

That's a very long trip. I think a trip to the liquor store will be cheaper and faster.

I would have no idea about that.
It must be cool to have one of those though.

Hubby thinks so. I would have spend that money on something more useful lol.

I think it's for storage. It has a spout for pouring.

I don’t drink hard liquor. Hubby does though.

That seems weird to me as well. Maybe it’s good when you have a party. Just fill it up with whiskey and such and when someone wants a shot open the spout and pour...

@lovebuglena I do not know, but if you do not keep a barrel full, after a while it dries and leaks.

@LadyDuck Oh, didn't know that. So it always has to have liquor in there?
